I think you’ve done a fantastic job of this challenge,love the painterly style and the different shades of blue.The shading really brings out the shape of this beautiful classic car.

I know this is a year late, but I only just saw this today. Harley retired from doing workshops in 1999. They were rarely in North America; students would travel to various scenic destinations (Fiji, Australia, etc) and would spend large portions of their days working with Harley and Tom Hill and others.

There are no plans to return to doing them, I’m sorry to say.

I started to underpaint about 4 months ago and can’t seem to stop. Underpaintings just make everything placed on top ‘pop’ so much more.

Do you always underpaint with complements?
